BUT. The real reason I'm going to Minneapolis (at least the more exciting reason) is for the 4 NIGHTS IN LORING PARK!
Tonight's show will feature "Marijuana Deathsquads," which is a house band that plays many shows at Nick and Eddie's. POS is bound to be there, and also it is rumored that MEMBERS OF GAYNGS WILL BE THERE!!!!!

On Tuesday, August 10, the Gimme Noise music blog is proud to present a unique performance by Marijuana Deathsquads. Spearheaded by producer Ryan Olson (who recently raised to prominence with his recording project Gayngs), Tuesday night’s performance will be a collaborative improvisation between Olson, P.O.S, members of Gayngs, and surprise special guests.
Anyone who has caught one of Marijuana Deathsquads’ 26 consecutive house gigs at Nick and Eddie can attest that they are notorious for pulling in a revolving crew of musical luminaries from around the Twin Cities and for showcasing bombastic and unpredictable sets of improvised mania. Olson will be composing a song just for the occasion.
